My name is Elaine Watt and I am a BACP (British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy) Accredited Counsellor. I work within the BACP ethical framework and uphold the BACP’s complaints procedure. I have been a registered member of the BACP since 2003.
I am a qualified Clinical Supervisor offering individual or group supervision.
I am a qualified lecturer and teach counselling skills to candidates wishing to embark on a counselling career or, who are interested in improving their listening skills and individual self awareness.
I provide counselling to a wide variety of people, from adolescents to adults and couples.
I believe that individuals deserve acceptance and understanding. I believe that by speaking about things that we find difficult or painful in a safe, boundaried, and non judgemental environment we can gradually make sense of them and implement change.
I will provide an impartial, non–judgmental environment where you can explore and express your thoughts and feelings. I understand that sometimes it can be difficult to talk about things and that each individual has to reflect at their own pace.
Focused Counselling is registered with the Criminal Records Bureau as a Registered Body.
